"The self-checkout kiosk isn't working"

What you might see: The kiosk screen is unresponsive, showing errors, or not processing checkouts.

Why this happens:

  1. Kiosk is offline -- The kiosk may have lost its connection to the system.
  2. Network issue -- The internet connection at the kiosk may be down.

How to fix it:

  1. Check if the kiosk shows as "Online" in the Kiosks management page. If the last heartbeat was more than 5 minutes ago, the kiosk is offline.
  2. Check the network connection at the kiosk location.
  3. Restart the kiosk if needed.
  4. If using RFID, make sure the reader is powered on and connected.
