Checking Your Proposal Status
After you submit an event proposal, you can track its progress from the My Proposals page.
- In the sidebar, click Events to expand the group.
- Click Propose an Event, then look for a link to My Proposals — or navigate directly to
/patron/event-proposals. - A list of all your submitted proposals appears, each showing:
- Proposal title
- Proposed date
- Event type
- Current status
Proposal Status Meanings
| Status | What it means |
|---|---|
| Pending | Your proposal is waiting for the librarian to review it. |
| Approved | The librarian has accepted your proposal. |
| Rejected | The librarian has declined your proposal. Check your notification for any reason given. |
| Converted to Event | Your proposal was approved and the librarian has created a draft event from it. |
Notifications
When the librarian reviews your proposal, you will receive an in-app notification automatically. You do not need to keep checking the page — the notification will come to you.
- If approved, the notification tells you the good news.
- If rejected, the notification includes any notes the librarian provided explaining why.
What You'll See
Each proposal card shows the title, proposed date, event type, and a status badge. Approved proposals have a green badge; rejected proposals have a red badge; pending proposals show a grey or amber badge.
If Something Goes Wrong
- No proposals showing — You may not have submitted any proposals yet. Go to Propose an Event to submit your first one.
- Did not receive a notification — Check your Notifications page in the sidebar under My Account → Notifications.
